Installation

anvil is installed from source. Pre-built release binaries are not published yet.

git clone https://github.com/piny4man/anvil
cd anvil
cargo install --path .

Requires Rust 1.85+ (edition 2024) and a git binary on PATH.

Check the install:

anvil --version
anvil --help

Optional tools

• age on PATH if you use encrypted secrets.
• paru or yay if you install AUR packages. See Packages.
